Guided Tour Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel , St peter's Basilica

Overview

If you are planning to visit Rome and explore the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, the best option would be to opt for a guided tour of the Vatican. The highlight of this tour is that you will be able to climb up a few flights into the interior ring of Michelangelo’s dome. You will also be able to see the 96-foot tall bronze canopy over the High Altar design by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, which is used during papal masses. In addition to that, this is also one of the few tours that allows you to enter the Sistine Chapel with a guide. The guide will be able to tell you the story of the frescoes in the chapel and answer any questions that you might have. Plus, you will get to see the papal tombs – where some of the most prominent popes have been laid to rest.
