Lucca: Walking tour to discover the city of 100 churches

A 2.5 hour walking tour of the historic center of Lucca, with ENTRANCE and GUIDED TOUR to the Cathedral of San Martino and the Basilica of San Frediano. On cobbled streets, between stately buildings, severed towers, ancient squares, I will tell you the stories of the Tuscan city never dominated by the Medici and give you advice on where to taste the specialties of Lucca. We start from Piazza Anfiteatro destination for those who want to enjoy an aperitif in a fascinating atmosphere and we go on the imposing Renaissance walls. We will visit the inside of the Basilica of San Frediano where I will tell you the story of the “Holy Face” and the patron saint of Lucca. From there we will move to Via Fillungo, the shopping street, to the church of San Michele. For the sweet tooth, there we can taste Buccellato.
