The Capitoline Museums house a fascinating collection of art and artifacts telling the story of Rome. In 1734, Pope Clement XII made an important collection of artworks and ancient sculptures accessible to the people of Rome, creating what is considered the world’s first museum, located on one of the Seven Hills of Rome. Here you can admire the famous she-wolf sculpture depicting Rome’s founders, Romulus and Remus. You can also enhance your experience with an optional one-hour panoramic golf cart round, offering a relaxed way to explore the heart of Rome without stress or traffic, and admire its iconic landmarks.
