Venice Peggy Guggenheim Art Walking Tour

Overview

Peggy Guggenheim and Venice go hand in hand. The iconic artist set up shop here in 1949, and went on to take Venice’s already legendary art scene into the stratosphere. On this guided tour, you’ll learn all about her, plus you’ll check out the artwork at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and wander around a part of the Dorsoduro district called the art mile. Elio, one of our expert local guides, says “Peggy Guggenheim could be the protagonist of a fascinating and intriguing novel. Her life was extraordinary, and we’re fortunate that she fell in love with Venice so deeply that she chose it as her home. And what a home it is, truly incredible."
