Overview

Choose to relive the history of the elegant city of Herculaneum with our Guide expert in archaeology! The tour begins with a panoramic view of the entire archaeological park. Entering the city everything will be a step back in time, among refined details of Roman dwellings, shops and spas. The more than 20 meters of volcanic material have preserved in a sensational way the charred wood of doors, windows, beams, beds. We will reach the ancient beach, where about 300 fleeing people died and whose skeletons we see today. This tour is particularly suitable for those who want to have a quick overview of a well-preserved Roman city, for those with mobility difficulties, for families and for lovers of Roman antiquities.
