Accompanied by a local guide, this tour invites you to discover the real Padua. We will stroll through the city, captivated by its picturesque vistas and major monuments. We will visit Prato della Valle and the Basilica of Saint Anthony—known simply as "Il Santo"—a place where diverse architectural styles blend and cultures from every corner of the globe converge. Walking along cobblestone streets and beneath medieval porticoes, we will reach the beating heart of the historic center. We will explore the city’s Old Ghetto, where narrow streets and traditional venues make it a favorite gathering spot for locals and students alike. Next, we will visit Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza della Frutta, and Piazza dei Signori—squares often enlivened by market stalls and the bustling crowds of the historic "Sotto il Salone" covered market. Finally, after passing through the atrium of Palazzo Bo—home to the University of Padua—we will conclude the tour with a tasting experience "Padua-style" at the historic Caffè Pedrocchi.
