Continue the tour to the ancient maritime republic of Amalfi, home of Flavio Gioia, the inventor of the compass. Enjoy some free time to visit the beautiful Cathedral of St. Andrew, explore the town, and browse local shops. Next, drive to Ravello and stop for lunch at a traditional restaurant, including a glass of wine. In the early afternoon, explore the center of Ravello, a town described by travelers as a “Spiritual Homeland” and the place that inspired many of Wagner’s works (approx. 1-hour stop).
