Saga the Mysteries of Naples: the Tomb of Dracula

Overview

The complex, founded by the Angevins (1279), encloses in its walls with a centuries-old history, a true treasure trove of history, art and religiosity. It includes the beautiful Cloister of S. Giacomo, with the Tomb of Matteo Ferrillo and the mystery of Vlad III of Wallachia, the great Chapel of S. Giacomo with the exhibition on the Neapolitan nativity scene, the majestic Baroque Church of S. Maria La Nova, the 'Ancient Refectory with the fresco "The ascent to Calvary" attributed to Bramantino. Since mid-2014, some scholars have identified the alleged tomb of Vladd III in the Church of Santa Maria La nova, arousing the curiosity of the epigraphists on the mystery that gravitates around the Turbolo Chapel.
